Bala Sundar, President & CEO

Bala Sundar is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of SyApps, LLC. Bala has been a very successful Entrepreneur and consultant all his life. Building on a vision to providing committed services to the clients and provide quality consulting, Bala has always delivered value to the clients at all levels. Bala has established deep customer relationships for several key accounts and worked extensively on Enterprise Transformation Strategy, Architecture Re-Design, ERP Package Implementation, Project advisory services, client relationship management, Enterprise Data Warehousing and center of excellence development.

Prior to starting SyApps, LLC, Bala has spent the last Twelve years including a number of years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM Global Consulting and has successfully been consulting on strategy, process and system solutions in various capacities and has implemented large enterprise applications and enterprise re-architecting solutions. Bala has lead a number of full lifecycle implementation projects, implementing ERP Financials, Data warehousing, Enterprise Architecture design and implementing custom software development projects focusing on Financial Services industry with many fortune 500 companies including The Hartford Insurance, Hartford Life, MMC, Pentual Mutual Life, Ace Insurance, Freddie Mac, Fannie mae, XL Capital, MetLife to name a few.

In addition to managing SyApps, LLC’s services operations, Bala is a member of the Board to O2iD Inc. (www.o2id.com), an authentication service provider with two factor authentication for online access using a single token for multiple clients, based in Plano, TX.

Bala holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering and a Masters degree in Business Administration

Shankar Iyer, Chairman

Shankar Iyer is the Co-Founder and Chairman of SyApps, LLC. Shankar has been a very successful Entrepreneur and a management and technology consultant all his life. Shankar has over Twelve years of Implementation and Project Management Experience in strategic IT solutions, Human Resources, Financials, Work Management, Supply Chain and Data Warehousing systems to support business operations and performance improvement efforts primarily focused in the Financial Services, Telecommunications and Energy industry covering many fortune 500 companies including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Cushman and Wakefield, Credit Suisse First Boston, XL Capital, Verizon, Sprint, American Electric Power, Duke Energy to name a few. Prior to starting SyApps, LLC, Shankar spent the last ten years of his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then IBM Business Consulting Services where he developed and maintained strong customer relationships for several key accounts. He has extensive experience in developing business cases and managing large complex implementations end-to-end for large corporations. He is also well versed in IT and Business consolidation activities related to mergers and acquisitions. His core expertise includes Financial Restatement process and systems design and development, IT strategy development, systems analysis and planning, business applications, data & technical architecture life cycle planning through implementation & software selection.

Shankar holds a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bombay and a Masters degree in Information Systems from Virginia Tech.

Thomas Fay, VP – Strategy

Tom Fay is the Vice-President, Strategy at SyApps, LLC. Tom has nearly 30 years of experience in various roles in Financial Services including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Treasury & Investment Operations, Market Risk and Project Management. Tom’s 15 years of experience on Wall St. include various financial and risk support roles at Merrill Lynch, Salomon Bros, Westpac Bank, Bankers Trust and ING Barings before further diversifying his work experience in the Washington DC area working in Management positions at both The World Bank Group and Fannie Mae.  In his most recent role at Fannie Mae, Tom was Vice President in the Finance division responsible for all accounting, financial reporting and analysis related to Mortgage securities and Treasury businesses.

Tom’s rich experience in financial services and global markets have contributed to many of his accomplishments where he either led or as member of a management team had implemented large scale cross-organizational projects related to Systems implementations, Infrastructure re-engineering, outsourcing/off-shoring that resulted in significant reduction in manual processes and administrative costs.

Tom’s educational and training background includes a BA degree in Accounting at Iona College, NY and Executive Development at the Wharton School of Business.

Mo Kelly-Ostrosky, VP – Technology Services

Mo Kelly-Ostrosky is the leader of the Technology Solutions practice at SyApps, LLC. Technology Services include Enterprise Architecture, Data warehouse & Business Intelligence and Tools & Database Support. Mo has over 20 years experience in Technology in the legal and real estate industries. Prior to joining SyApps, LLC, Mo was with MuniMae, Bozzuto Homes and The Rouse Company. Her experience includes: outsourcing initiatives, network management, disaster recovery planning, application development management, telecomm implementations, data migrations, customer service initiatives, Business Objectives implementation and strategic policy development.

Mo holds a Bachelors degree in business from St. Mary’s College and a MS degree in Information Systems from The American University.

Tom Wilkinson, VP – Mortgage Consulting

Tom Wilkinson is the leader of SyApps, LLC Mortgage Consulting Services. Mr. Wilkinson has over 40 years experience in Mortgage, Business and Consumer lending as an entrepreneur, consultant and project manager. With deep experience in the mortgage industry with a focus on loss mitigation, foreclosure and REO management, Mr. Wilkinson has worked with Fannie Mae, Washington Mutual, Countrywide Financial and Security Pacific Banks among others.

Mr. Wilkinson will be spearheading the efforts at SyApps, LLC to provide solutions around Mortgage operations to it’s Clients, through management and staffing resources; specializing in the reduction of loan losses by enhancing the Loss Mitigation process. This group places “Strike Teams” of highly qualified consultants in critical phases of the delinquency process. Results will be driven by both staff augmentation and portfolio evaluation.

Tom holds a BA from California State University at Northridge.

Regi Mathew, Operations

Regi Mathew is the Operations Manager at SyApps, LLC with over 13 years of experience in technology consulting and managing consulting operations. Regi manages and oversees the back-office operations at SyApps, LLC.

Regi has a very strong understanding of the technologies and processes involved in implementing custom solutions and package implementation. Coming from a consulting background and having managed Consulting operations, Regi brings a blend of understanding what the Client needs and delivering staffing solutions to meet the Client needs. Regi also brings in his vast experience in bringing high tech professionals and executives for various organizations and has a keen eye in matching the professional interests of consultants to that of the Client requirements at SyApps, LLC. In the past, Regi has provided consulting services for various federal and commercial clients including Accenture, HUD, Alcatel, DuPont, EMC, Universal studios, Sony to name a few.

Regi Mathew holds a Bachelors degree in Engineering.
